My research draws on theories of complexity science to engage at the intersection of physical and human geography. For my doctoral studies, I propose the use of participatory modeling approaches to investigate how fine-scale spatial and temporal interactions between people and places give rise to landscape-level patterns of resource use surrounding a protected mountain grassland in Ethiopia.
